Here is terrific light weight trouser by Ballin of Canada which boasts two great features. One is the Comfort "Eze" waistband which has extra stretch (not the sliding type) built in for those great holiday dinners. The second is the fabric which has tremendous recovery so it is very wrinkle resistant and also has a bit of stretch.
Fabric: Super 120's wool gabardine with chemical stretch. This is a high performance wool with a fine hand and subtle luster making this trouser equally suited for travel, work, or a night on the town.
This is truly one of the finest pants on the market at any price.
This trouser is offered in three different models:
- double reverse pleats: regular and long rise
- single reverse pleat: short rise
- flat front: short rise
Specs in inches on a 34 waist:
- flat front-Short Rise: rise 10 1/2, knee 22, bottom 18 1/2
- single reverse pleat-shorter rise: rise 10 3/4, knee 22, bottom 18 1/2
- double reverse pleats-Reg rise: rise 11 1/2, knee 22 1/2, bottom 18 3/4
- double reverse pleats-Long Rise: rise: 12 1/2, knee 22 1/2, bottom 18 3/4, inseam 42"
Please note that the flat front trouser is shorter in the rise than the single reverse pleat even though both are considered short rise.
All trousers feature:
- 5/8" crotch outlet
- coin pocket inside right front pocket
- hanger loop
- half front lining
- Dress Comfort-EZE waistband construction
- two back pockets with button through
- 38" unfinished bottom (42" on long rise)

Colors may vary slightly due to monitor resolution and settings as well as slight variations in dye lots.
Color Notes:
- sadddle: darker than British tan with a hint of copper. Great color.
- toblerone heather: it has a bit of a rust tint and is a "heather" versus a plain weave
- Loden: An olive with a "heather" finish versus a plain weave, thus a more "mingly" kind of look.
- British tan: a tan with a light greenish cast to it versus the regular khaki. Almost a taupe.
- Brown: Very dark and very rich.
