Remy Leather 2 Button Blazers Rugged Skins

A 2-button blazer with a tapered fit, notched collar, and clean lines, this jacket looks great worn with jeans and sportswear. More casual and rugged than the 2 button blazer in Remy lite.

This coat does not have flap pockets like the style 8030 but is otherwise the same cut coat.

Fit: regular cut

Pebble Nubuck:  Sahara, chapparal, whiskey, and ace-black.

Pebble Nubuck is a pebbled/grain effect, tanned in Italy.  Unlike suede, which is finished on the flesh side of the skin, these calfskins are buffed on the grain side creating a nap while leaving many of the grain side characteristics visible (i.e. vein shadows, markings and blemishes).  The best colors in this skin for a blazer are the sahara and the chapparal.  

Ranger Nubuck: Shadow & bourbon:
This nubuck is made from English domestic lambskins.  Nubuck means that the skin is finished on the grain side with the top layer being buffed (removed) revealing a nap (and we do not mean sleeping). The tannage then provides for an oil product which give the skins an almost velvety hand.  This skin differs from other nubucks, such as pebble nubuck,  in that is does not show a lot of grain and is much more uniformly napped.  We really like this skin and it makes a great alternative to someone who likes the weight of Remy lite, but wants something with just a bit more body and thickness.  Bourbon is similar in color to Dakota in Remy light.

Country lamb: elk

This skin is a lamb nubuck that displays a heavy nap characteristic which highlights the grain texture and excentuates the deep, rich colors.  Another great skin with a bit more weight and heft than the above range of Ranger nubucks.
