Skin: Remy Lite (RL) is the lightest weight leather used for the manufacture of leather garments. Made of English domestic lambskins, Remy Lite is a suede product with a light resin finish. In time, as the resin wears down, the nap of the suede will buff up; however, the color and visual character of the skin will not change. The fine hand and luster of the Remy Lite skin is the ultimate handwork of the tanner’s skills.We recommend having this coat made using a contrast skin on the collar versus the standard Remy light. It will provide a better look, be more durable, and not cost any extra.
