Made in California, Remy leather jackets are the finest on the market.
This is new style for fall 2011 and is great looking. We can have it made in any of the skins and colors in the Remy line,
but suggest using one of the skins offered in this menu as the best options. Notice the great detailing around the front of the coat and the collar.
Ranger: This nubuck product is made on English Domestic lambskins. Nubuck means that the skins is finished on the grain side with the top layer being buffed (removed) revealing a nap. The tannage then provides for an oil product which gives the skins a draggy hand feel. As different from other nubuck articles, Ranger does not show a great deal of grain, it is almost uniformly napped.
Calf Suede: the youngest calves go into the making of this product. The hides, not skins in this case, are tanned in Italy using the most modern techniques and dyes to give these skins the luster and nap that sets it apart from lamb, pig or goat suede.
This skin is a little heavier than the Ranger skins.
